The Glowing Skin Smoothie

Love to start your mornings with a power smoothie? Smoothies are a fab way to start the day, super quick and easy to make, especially if you live a busy schedule and a great way to jam pack lots of nutrients into your breakfast! Smoothies can also be a great beauty essential, there are so many foods out there that provide the nutrients and ingredients needed to improve skin, hair and nails! 


Looking to get that radiant, glowing skin?? Well we have the beautiful Tuulia from @tuuliatalvio on this weeks edition of her recipe of the week showing us how to make this super easy avocado and almond butter smoothie filled healthy fats, antioxidants and vitamin E!



  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 big frozen banana

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • 2 fresh dates, pitted

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups almond milk

  • a few ice cubes



Scoop the avocado into a blender. Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. Taste, and add more dates or almond butter, if you feel like it. Pour into glasses, serve and enjoy!
